Bitter Gourd Fry recipe
Ingredients:
Bitter gourds – 6
Onion – 1
Red chillies – 4
Zeera – 1 tbsp
Mustard – 2 tsp
Urad dal – 1 tbsp
Curry leaves
Oil – need bit more
Salt
Method:
* Grind bitter gourd pieces along with salt coarsely.
* Wash it 3-4 times and drain it and then squeeze the excess water.
* Heat oil in the pan and do the seasoning with mustard, some zeera, urad dal and curry leaves.
* Add the grated bitter gourd and fry.
* When it is 3/4 th done, grind onion with zeera, salt and red chillies coarsely.
* Add this paste to the frying bitter gourd and let it fry until the water and raw smell from onion disappear.
Thats it! Delicious and crispy Bittergourd fry is ready to serve with white rice/rasam/sambhar/curd rice.
